This vintage haori is a one-off piece, made by hand of Shibori silk. Shibori is a traditional Japanese tye and die folding technique from the 8th century creating clear embossed patterns on the fabric : Each small point was made with a tied bond around a small seed… It is a very "haute couture" piece of work !
