Handcrafted Daruma
Daruma is the name of a monk, Bodhidharma, who created Zen Buddhism in Japan, it is now a famous lucky charm. The ritual is to draw the first eye when making a wish and the second when the wish has been granted. They are sold around all Buddhist temples in Japan.
Made of paper mache, this lucky charm comes from the original temple of this monk: Shorin Zan Daruma Temple.
