This vintage* haori is a unique piece made by hand in Shibori silk. This traditional 8th century Japanese ligation / dyeing technique gives embossed patterns to the fabric: Each small point corresponds to a tied bond: Each small point corresponds to a very small knot… It is a long and meticulous work for a very "haute couture" piece of work !
This haori is embellished on the back with a superb bamboo leaves embroidery in a shade of soft green.
Silk handmade one-off piece (dry cleaning), synthetic lining.
