Shibori is a traditional Japanese tye and die folding technique from the 8th century creating clear embossed patterns on the fabric : Each small point was made with a tied bond around a small seed or a small pebble… It is a very "haute couture" piece of work !
The lining of this ancient haori is also noteworthy, with a delicate floral painting exclusively reserved for its owner !
